Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a method of treatment of traditional Chinese medicine.

AcupunctureOn certain points found along the surface of the human body, which lie on the so-called meridians (energy pathways), exceedingly fine needles are placed. According to Chinese teachings, pain and Illnesses point to an imbalance in the energy fields of “yin” and “yang”. By positioning the needles, energy disturbances (pain) are removed from within the organism and help the body to re-establish its energetic equilibrium.

Acupuncture“Western” medicine has failed so far to completely uncover the working principle of acupuncture, despite intensive research. However, the fact that patients are pain-free following acupuncture treatment makes it a recognized and justifiable means of treatment.

AcupunctureDuring treatment, very fine, short needles are placed into energy points and left there for about 20-30 min.

A series of treatment comprises between 3-10 sessions.

Acupuncture is employed for chronic pain of the musculoskeletal system (vertebrae, shoulders, hips, knees), Migraine, headaches, menopausal discomfort, as well as with hayfever and chronic fatigue syndrome.
