HPV-vaccination
(vaccination against humane papilloma viruses)

Vaccination is carried out on young girls between the ages of 12 to 18. It protects against cervical cancer caused by the virus. These viruses are passed on through sexual intercourse. Hence this vaccination should take place before the first sexual intercourse takes place, but it can be done at a later stage. The vaccination consists of 3 injections that can be carried out between -0, 2 and 6 months.
