In this examination the organs of the abdomen are depicted. Among them are the liver, gallbladder and bile duct, pancreas, spleen, kidneys and the main artery in the abdomen. Alterations along the intestines can also be displayed when certain clinical symptoms apply.

When you have uncertain painful conditions within the entire abdomen, such as digestion problems, nausea, vomiting, unclear weight-loss, this method of investigation is employed. It is also an important part of a check-up.
